Well, not much to say about the DVD not reaching the shelves on March 23. We'll be sure to keep you updated on the situation. In the meantime, we thought it would be fun to let some more stuff leak out seeing how much everybody enjoyed the first "Fan appreciation" post we put up. We want to do the same thing all over again! More videos, music, pics, and slashed prices at the store. :!:

First the videos. On the youtube page you will now find raw footage of Down doing Stone The Crow and Mourn in Houston from the Metallica tour in 2008. The audio is a little rough. It's hard to hear Philip but that's the fault of the camcorder microphone, not Philip, the venue, or the sound guys. This is just as raw as footage gets. The video is actually not bad and is available in HD. This stuff is NOT on the dvd. The dvd has stuff from the 2006 Euro tour only. Nothing from the 2006 New Orleans show at Tipitina's as it's been rumored.

Stone The Crow:

For music:
2 songs have been uploaded to the facebook and myspace players. They are Hail The Leaf and Ghosts along the Mississippi from the 2002 tour. Down recorded Stone The Crow acoustic that day in the XM Radio studio, then went and played these songs live that night in Washington DC at the 9:30 club.

Pics. Here's an assortment of pics from the 2006 European tour. Some might have been seen before but some are making thier interwebz debut:

For slashed prices. A few things sold out from http://www.officialdownstore.com during the last fan appreciation sale so there are a few things here that were on sale before, but some things have been added. These prices will be good primarily "while supplies last" as in if we sell out of the item, the sale is done on them, but other than that we'll try to keep it going for 2 weeks. No promises on the good prices after that.

Once again: http://www.officialdownstore.com

2007, 2008, 2009 Tour shirts $11.99
Image

Beanies as low as $11.99

The following shirts $15.99
ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Buckles and the flask now $15.99
ImageImageImage

Hoodies $34.99

(Sale price on the NOLA hoodies good for M and L sizes only, sorry :| )

...and that's what we have for everybody! :!: Thanks again to everybody for keeping their chin up and being patient for the dvd. It will be worth the wait. :!:
