Sell one of those electrics, mate. And then try to snag a good cheap tube amp. Peaveys are great for the price. Or maybe even a solid state Randall? Hell, there's enough out there for those who keep their eyes open for a good deal :wink:

Hey is that randall classic 100 a tube amp? I know that they made a tube one but i can't remember the model it was...

how is it thru the Marshall Cab?

mine is an older 2 channel version of the Dual Rectifier Solohead which i have going thru a Mesa Stilletto 4x12" cab.

They're Mode4 cabs, which are the best cabs I've ever used - they kick out alot of cool low-end but manage to remain crystal clear. It sounds freakin massive!

The Mesa on top of the Randall rg100es is a Mark III short head, and the one on the Mesa 4x12 is a .50 Caliber +

That's not all of it though. Got three RG 100 ES heads in total... a Peavey VTM 60 tube head, a Yamaha rgx612a (nice shedder axe), a cheapo bass and various pedals...

Nice gear anamoly....Im going to try and score a 50 cal soon....Ive heard good things about those Peavey VTMs too....Apparently JCM-like...true?

my bro has basically that same Viper, only he got the one with the Seymour Duncan pickups right before they discontinued that option.

dont know if you mean the peavey or the peavey AND the 50cal...

as for the 50cal, that was peppers main amp for most of his playing with CoC, correct?
