The Blackstar mini stack is really impressive too. I just bought a Big Muff with Tone Wicker in Dublin.... Can't wait to get home. :!:

my guitar player has added a small blackstar cab to his rig, he plays a Brunetti tube combo, which needed a bit more "space" to its sound and the two match perfectly.

Anyway, we're working on an acoustic set, so here's a pic of my bass:

You all know 5 months ago I gave my last Marshall with tubes sounding like shit, something was spilled in it so chassis was rusty and the speakers were slowly going dead... traded for Gibson SG, Washburn D200 Pro-e and Shure SM58 which is a really nice deal in Macedonia.. right??

But, now I bought Marshall JCM800 2203 head from 1989.. In perfect condition, got it for $520.. Pics of inside coming soon soon. It has new Electro-Harmonix tubes but I'm gonna change them when I get more money. Now I play it with 1x12 Celestion Seventy 80 because I had no money for a cab, but when I sell my Randall RG50TC I'll get a Marshall 1922 or smth..But hellyeah Marshall's in my country are fairly cheap so I can afford getting one every year HAHA :kirk:
Here is a video where is my new Marshall played live from the most famous band in Macedonia..

And ere are some pics...

The Viper transformation continues. Bought this to use as a template to have a black guard made, but I'm kinda thinking of keeping the white...

Bought this bastard tonight.. I've been going to guitar center for a few years and playing every Les Paul they've had, aside from the obscene $5,000+ custom shit -- I'll just say, there have been more average sounding Pauls than I could believe. This is the sweetest I've ever played. Non-chambered, heavy as a motherfucker, and sounds and plays like a dream. She has some mojo to her. I've been waiting for this since I was a kid.

After you get used to a heavy guitar, others feel odd (to me anyway).

I cut my teeth on a '79 Stratocaster that's heavier than my Broe's '72 Les Paul. Back then, I thought all guitars were supposed to be heavy

Im gettin old & my back aint what it used to be.

It sure does.. I'm glad I held out for a good one.. I have a feeling this is the start to a strong case of G.A.S.

I guess I mean that it's not really heavy, just heavier compared to most other guitars. It's much heavier than most of todays Les Pauls, too, since it's not chambered. I never understood the dudes that complained about the weight of a Les Paul.. It's carrying 10-12 pounds on your shoulder, man up.. :P

I never even knew they made a strat that came close to the weight of a Les Paul.. I'd love to play one of those.

guitars should be either heavy or not solid bodied.
the exceptions to this rule being the sg and the rhodes v.
