Sucks you had a migraine before the show  Mastodon & Gojira is a sweet ticket :headbang:

As far as Gojira goes I have From Mars to Sirius, The Way of All Flesh, and Terra Incognita (purchased in that order, Terra Incognita is a rerelease it originally came out prior to From Mars to Sirius) and I would probably recommend them in that order. All are heavy of course; I would say The Way of All Flesh has a harsher overall tone to it, very evocative; Terra Incognita is probably the most diverse of the three, see "Satan Is a Lawyer"; and From Mars to Sirius is really just awesome :!: Tight, focused, pummeling, it's great  (my apologies for the lackadaisical album descriptions, long day, bit buzzed :) )

Just got back from the Mastodon/Opeth/Ghost show in Knoxville with WolverineKills. We had to miss Opeth unfortunately to beat the traffic, but Mastodon and Ghost had a great set. Mastodon pretty much played everything off the hunter except the creature lives plus a few off blood mountain, leviathan, and crack the skye. Ghost had a great set too. Their live videos on youtube don't do them justice. Their sound was great too. Definitely gotta see them again. We got there a lil early too and met all of Mastodon, Mikael and Martin from Opeth. Tobias from Ghost even walked out in front of us unmasked. It was a great show and the tennessee theater is a great venue.

Yes, Mastodon and Opeth are rotating headlining spots on this tour. They are both getting equal set lengths though.

Saw Witchburn, Prong & Crowbar on Sunday. All 3 bands were great. Jamie from Witchburn sang her ass off. Also saw Ghost & Opeth with VDOJLO on 4/16

BTW what'd you think of Opeth and Ghost? I don't think I've seen you say anything about either band.
