Reminds me of the Internet Classics Archive.

http://classics.mit.edu/index.html

But, Gutenberg seems to have more books on it, probably has all the stuff that's on the ICA. Anyway, I usually use the ICA for Ancient Philosophy stuff. Plato, Socrates, et. al.

Yeah they seem pretty similar

Nowadys most public domain recordings are done by Librivox.
They have a forum to particpate in recordings or wish for stuff:

https://forum.librivox.org/

I probably do something one of these as payback

"Dreams of Terror and Death" by H.P. Lovecraft - I think HPL doesn't need any recomendations :)

"The Witcher Saga" by Andrew Sapkowski (The Witcher games are frome these 7 book Saga), epic dark, mature fantasy with no good-bad side, every choice brings it consequences, recomended for fans of "Song Of Ice And Fire"

Joe Hill's books, all horrors (he's the son of Stephen King and he's got his fathers talent). He also made a comic series "Locke & Key" - the best comic I've ever read.

I Sold The Moon! (A True Story) by Barry McArdle.

Great humorous recall of the 70ies selling land on the moon and doing drugs but also combined with introspective depth

He is enetertaing to liseten as well - (it is a free audiobook - http://www.podiobooks.com/title/i-sold-the-moon)

Really cool book. It's an easy read. It's kind of like having Grandpa Iommi telling stories about the old days, but with more guitars and coke and setting people on fire.

I'm readin "Jack Hinsons one man War" By Tom C McKenney.
Its A true story about a farmer in Kentucky on a personal vendetta against the lyin', greasy yankee army.
Killed a hundred of them or so.
Pretty good read.

Not being familiar with the author the title scared me away :P

My Life with Bonnie and Clyde, by Blanche Barrow.
Real interestin' to me, because it's a first-person account by an eyewitness.
She was married to Clyde Barrow's brother, and rode along on the crime-spree, untill she got shot up and captured.

THE GALACTIC FOOTBALL LEAGUE SERIES,Scott Siegler

Quote:
: Set in a lethal pro football league 700 years in the future, this galaxy-spanning story combines the intense gridiron action of "Any Given Sunday" with the space-opera style of "Star Wars" and the criminal underworld of "The Godfather."
Aliens and humans alike play positions based on physiology, creating receivers that jump 25 feet into the air, linemen that bench-press 1,200 pounds, and linebackers that literally want to eat you. Organized crime runs every franchise, games are fixed and rival players are assassinated. [Kick ass art by Daniel O'Brien]
Follow the story of Quentin Barnes, a 19-year-old quarterback prodigy that has been raised all his life to hate those aliens. Quentin must deal with his racism and learn to lead, or he'll wind up just another stat in the column marked "killed on the field."

Audiobook again (Adult version tentacles on the testicles :P - phys). Fuckin great entertainment -I am not that much into football but I like this (esp. since it's free).
Apparently the author was first in the world releasin a book-podcast for free.

Now if there will be boobs and pussy+tentacles I give it :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:
