I never got why woman couldn't just look, then put the seat down if they need to. I think we've spoiled them by putting the seat down for them.

I friend who lives with his sister and her husband. two dudes one chick, the amount of up-right and standing usage of their toilet
is much higher than in the sitting down position. they still get shit everyday for not putting it down. she even put a note on it saying "put me down".

When I worked at Culver's down here, I've had numerous people have orders that were $6.66, but no one gave that look. They just order more food because they're afraid of it, especially since this is in the bible belt.

I solved this problem almost 20 years ago in my house. I put the seat and the lid down.

Strange you should say that. I just replaced the seat at my house, and the hinge must be too tight, because the lid comes down when you put the seat down.
