This is my favorite album. Saw all 3 tours supporting it. Surprised more pantera fans don't love this one. I'll cast a shadow live was amazing. Kinda reminded me of "becoming." The band members all are of the opinion steel and vulgar are their best records. I always kinda thought their best song's were the mid tempo groovier songs (Becoming, new level) and the writting ON steel was very much influenced by those types of songs and the success they had with them commercially and live.
My favorite is revolution is my name. Amazing sing /yell /scream vocals. Two solos plus a nice little lead part n riffs everywhere.

Absolutely love this album.

For me:

1. Trendkill
2. Far Beyond Driven
3. Reinventing the Steel
4. Vulgar
5. CFH

IMO, The only weak song on RTS is You've Got To Belong To It.

My rank for most favorite to least favorite PanterA albums is the same. I used to like VDOP better than RTS but RTS has grown on me. I would say TGST is the best because it has a lot of variety to it and every time I listen to it I feel obligated to listen to it from start to finish like its just one long ass song. :?: :headbang:

It makes them disappear

Dime's riffing in that song is so badass and brutal.

Death Rattle is my favorite, I love that mid section riff.....

Reinventing the steel is so underrated, I find this to be one of my favorite albums. I remember buying it the first day it came out and loving it...the only filler for me is you've got to belong to it, but i still somewhat enjoy listening to it too.

my favorite albums are:

1. FBD
2. Trendkill
3. Reinventing the steel
4. Cowboys (i love dimes playing specifically on this record the most)
5. Power Metal
6. Vulgar
