Damn, I don't understand you guys :noclue: ... The new Hellyeah sounds great, it's more heavy, sounds a little bit PanterA style, the only thing is less southern vibe, wish there were songs like "Hell Of A Time" or some lite country style...

And about 2012 - down IV, third Hellyeah, new EHG, Vulgar Display's 20th Anniversary and the unreleased "Piss" song, Kill Devil Hill, next Gorgoroth, Saint Vitus, Black Sabbath, tons of other, underground bands, that will make new lp / ep, it will be one hell of a metal year.

Hellyeah makes Mudvayne, Nothingface, and Damageplan look like the best bands in the world.

Yep, 2010 Hellyeah "Stampede", #8 on Billboard 200, killer record, better in every way than the first Hellyeah

You know a band is bad when their nu-metal predecessors are better. This band, Five Finger Death Punch, DevilDriver, and Stone Sour are prime examples.

I've never been able to understand HellYeah. I know they are all about partying and simply having a good time, but the music is so generic compared to the member's other bands. The music, instruments to vocals, sound incredibly uninspired which is the biggest problem for me - no one in the band sounds pumped to be playing what they play. For instance, take The Donnas "Spend the Night" album and pit it against any HellYeah record. To me, that album sounds like they are firing on all cylinders and I can actually jam to that (it's too bad their other albums don't necessarily hold up to that compliment imo).

Combine all of this with the fact that Vinnie tries to act as though this is the best thing he's ever done and I'm pretty much not there. There's no WAY he can look himself in the face and believe that HellYeah's music is better then anything Pantera ever did...and I'm not even worried about talking up the other members in the band...he needs to listen to Pantera's drumming again and reassess the situation...
