Probably not. I can tell you from experience that they split up the "headliners." Down and Sleep will most likely be at two different venues, but playing at the same time. A lot of people bitched after the Pomona Scion show though, so maybe they'll change it this time.

Even if they don't play at the same time, if they don't play at the same venue, there's a good chance you're not going to see them both. I'm good friends with the drummer for Floor, who played with Morbid Angel at the CA Scion, and he said the venue was so packed security wouldn't even let the promoter in the show...Happy about the Lauderdale show...going to do that so I can see Sleep for sure on Saturday...

Yep. That's the Pomona show I was talking about. It was a nightmare.

In the email I got it said it doesn't guarantee entry to the venues...I will find out which venue Down is playing and most likely just stay there the whole time...sucks because I'm gonna miss some good bands.

Yeah, they give away far more RSVPs than people allowed in the venues, and then it becomes a first come, first served experience.

Problem was, in Pomona, they were over fire capacity, so they emptied the buildings a couple times, which throw outs the whole "I'll just stay here all day" idea. Because then the kids that were stuck out side got to go back in first.

It's pain in the ass.

They've closed the event (Scion), so hopefully they didn't oversell the motherfucker and we'll be semi-golden! Going to Lauderdale anyway, just to be safe! Seeing Sleep!!! Must see Sleep!

Down has not come to Virginia in 4 years, and before 2008 they had never come to Virginia, with the exception of the ozzfest 2002 date in Bristow.

Ashville is close enough, and I've seen Down in Washington, DC a couple times.

DOWN guitarist Kirk Windstein has revealed to AI.com that the band will "probably play one or two new" songs on their upcoming tour, which is scheduled to kick off tomorrow night (Friday, May 18) at The Station in Broussard, Louisiana.
